Dr. Kevyn Smith

Dr. Kevyn Smith, B.Sc, DVM was raised in southwest Calgary. He attended the University of Calgary, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology then was accepted into the veterinary program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatoon. He graduated from WCVM and returned to his home town to practice veterinary medicine when he joined Fish Creek Pet Hospital.

Kevyn has always had an intense love of animals and wanted to be a veterinarian since meeting the veterinarian that cared for his childhood pets. He grew up with pets and is currently a self-proclaimed crazy cat person having two cats at home, Ash (white cat) and Nova (black cat).

Outside of the hospital, you may find Kevyn in fish creek park running/biking or frequenting new restaurants as he is very interested in trying new dining experiences and broadening his palate.
