Dr. Monica Leslie, B.Sc, DVM, grew up in Fernie and Calgary. She attended the University of British Columbia where she attained her Bachelor of Science in 2015 with a combined major in chemistry, environmental science and life science. Monica then attended Ross University on the beautiful island of St. Kitts where she worked towards her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She completed the clinical aspect of her DVM degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2019. Monica has a strong love for emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and surgery.
She lives with her boyfriend John and her two dogs, Gracie (a Rhodesian Ridgeback) and Maisie (a Coconut Retriever from the island of St. Kitts). In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, running, yoga and lagree.
